Our work depends on Project Manager joining our Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program at Edwards AFB, CAThe Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F-35 IT program support contract provides knowledge-based, information assurance and cybersecurity IT services to the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO). Our services include program management, enterprise performance management, enterprise architecture, implementation of emerging capabilities and requirements, life cycle management, operations & maintenance, enterprise data management, service desk support and IT training.HOW OUR PROJECT MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Monitor and support all aspects of multiple moderate and complex projects simultaneously.
Participates as a member of and/or supports the specified program or project team.
Serves as interface and point of contact with Government action officers and representatives for any project issues.
Analyzes new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions involving scheduling implementation of associated tasks.
Prepares long and short-range plans for implementation of new and expanded technologies to included systems and application implementation, network expansion and transition to operational activities.
Applies government-instituted processes for documentation operational and change control management.
Analyzes and tracks requirements, status of program/projects and schedules.
Administrative work performing non-routine research and administrative tasks related to the coordination and oversight of projects to ensure timely and effective project development and completion.
Will be responsible for coordinating, prioritizing and facilitating information within the department.
Coordinates program or project planning and implementation, including assessing needs, setting goals and objectives alongside senior leadership and program analyst(s)
Assists researchers and program analysts to define project scope and requirements
Participates in project budget planning and development.
Assisting the program analyst(s) with establishing the project work plan and calendar or schedules; monitors, reviews, and evaluates progress.
Coordinates and attends meetings; establishes and maintains internal and external contacts as necessary.
Records meeting discussions, as appropriate.
Verifies and analyzes the accuracy of all data and information used or generated by project; resolves any discrepancies or problems.
Prepares records of project activities (e.g. Project charter, schedule, meeting minutes, lessons learned, risks); oversees and ensures the timely processing in and the delivery of required materials.
Monitors record keeping and file maintenance for the program or project.
Serves as liaison for department; coordinates activities and exchanges information flow between project members, program analysts, and senior leadership as required.
Provides administrative support (formatting, etc.) to the Team Lead with protocol driven research proposals, technical report, final reports, and peer reviewed manuscripts or presentations.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Security Clearance Level: Active Secret clearance
Required Experience: 8 years
Experience within large and complex enterprise/corporate environments.
Experience in analyzing program/project status and providing documentation to support project/program.
Experience with ITSM based services.
Required Certifications: DoD 8140.03 Work Role (802) IT Project Manager - Basic. Industry Certifications: PMP and ITIL Foundations (ITIL to be achieved within 3 months of hiring).
Education: BS or BA degree. Allowable Substitution: An additional 6 years of experience is required without a BS/BA degree. An additional 4 years of experience is required with an AA/AS degree.
Location: Hybrid – 2 days onsite in Arlington, VA; 3 days remote.

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
